Telepractice
We are excited to be offering telepractice as part of our speech pathology service and delighted to be delivering supports to families who may:
live remotely or interstate,
are unable to get to our clinic,
are unwell during their usual session time,
enjoy connecting online, or
prefer to access supports from the comfort of their own home.
Telepractice (also known as telehealth or teletherapy) is an evidence-based method of providing therapy services to those unable to attend sessions in-person or who simply prefer an online format.
We use a videoconferencing platform to delivery therapy online from the comfort of your own home. All that’s required is a good internet connection and a device such as a computer, laptop, or tablet/iPad with speakers, a camera, and a microphone.
More information about telepractice from Speech Pathology Australia can be found here, and get in touch with us if you have any questions.
